  • Day 1: Arrival in Delhi

    • Arrive in India’s capital and transfer to hotel.

    • Evening at leisure to rest and acclimate.

    • Overnight in Delhi.

    Day 2: Delhi → Haridwar

    • Drive or fly to Haridwar, the sacred gateway to the Himalayas.

    • Walking tour along the ghats.

    • Visit Shakti Devi temples and take in the spiritual atmosphere.

    • Participate in the evening Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri.

    • Overnight in Haridwar.

    Day 3: Haridwar → Rishikesh

    • Short drive to Rishikesh, a haven for sages and yogis.

    • Spend time in reflection and meditation by the river.

    • Optional yoga session or visit to local ashrams.

    • Attend the sunset Ganga Aarti at Parmarth Ashram.

    • Overnight in Rishikesh.

    Day 4: Rishikesh → Devprayag → Delhi (or Dehradun flight)

    • Drive to Devprayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers — the birthplace of the Ganga.

    • Spend quiet time at the sangam and temples.

    • Continue onward or return to Delhi (by car or flight from nearby Dehradun).

    • Overnight in Delhi.

    Day 5: Delhi → Varanasi

    • Fly to Varanasi, India’s holiest city on the Ganga.

    • Sunset rickshaw ride through the old city.

    • Witness the Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat.

    • Overnight in Varanasi.

    Day 6: Varanasi

    • Sunrise boat ride on the Ganges.

    • Visit Lahiri Mahasaya’s home, Anandamayi Ma Ashram, and Tailanga Swami site.

    • Explore Sarnath, the sacred Buddhist complex where Buddha gave his first sermon.

    • Overnight in Varanasi.

    Day 7: Varanasi → Kolkata

    • Morning flight to Kolkata.

    • Visit Dakshineswar Kali Temple, Belur Math, and Mother Teresa’s Missionaries of Charity.

    • Enjoy a boat ride on the Ganges in the city where she meets the sea.

    • Overnight in Kolkata.

    Day 8: Kolkata → Departure

    • Visit Birla Krishna Temple or nearby markets for local souvenirs.

    • Transfer to airport for onward journey.
